Happy 233rd Birthday Army

Last night I was an honored guest at the AUSA (Association of the United States Army) Army Ball. General Shinseki was the guest speaker along with a lot of top army brass from the area. They invited all the spouses of deployed soliders to attend free and also the soldiers that are in the wounded warrior program here. I was really blown away at the fuss they made over us. The called our names along with our spouses names and where they were serving and then presented all of us with flowers and a gift bag which included a free nights stay at a local Kansas city Hotel when our husband gets back.
