Jeff took Command of the AVIM - Bravo Company, 412th Aviation Support Battalion Friday. The camera died about 1/3 of the way thru the ceromony but we did manage to get a few photos...

Me & My Peeps

Antelope Island

We drove to Antelope Island. It's located in the Great Salt Lake.

That's the island off in the distance.

This is the trail you take to the summit of the island.

We arrived as the sun was setting.

Views of the Great Salt Lake. Parts of it were frozen over.

That's Wyatt off in the distance. It's an easy walk up to the summit.

The lighting here is beautiful this time of day.

Chris, Mallory and Wyatt.

There is a buffalo heard on the island. They roam free.

Rockin the sunset.

The moon was huge. And full.

We have amazing sunsets in Utah.

The rest of our Mexico pics

The pool where we spent much of our time. In the background is the sushi restaurant. We tried it be it wasn't our favorite food.
This is Dos Lunas (two moons) restaurant. We found it kinda late in the trip but it was definitely one of our favorites!

Dad doing puzzles at the pool. We sat here a lot cause it had trees so we had shade for part of the time.

I will leave you with a Mexican sunrise seen from our balcony :)

Christmas in Mexico

We went to Mexico for Christmas this year. I wasn't quite as exciting as going from a cold climate to a warm one. We missed the family so probably won't do that again. This is a view from our room balcony.
Here is another view from our balcony. This is the version of a Mexican hot tub. You just add water (no Jets!) but we did use it every day.

Another view from the balcony. You are looking at the infinity pool deck and the hotel next door

This is a veiw of of course the beach, ocean and two other decks one with a bar/snack restaurant.
